Nikki Haley Resigns

U.S ambassador of the United Nations, Nikki Haley, has announced her resignation on Tuesday and is effective near the end of the year. This decision has come as a surprise and is leaving people wondering what her next move is. She has not said what she plans to do next, but has stated that she believes all government officials should have term limits and she know, “when its time to step aside.”

Haley has called her time at the U.N a “blessing.” President Trump has said that Haley has done “an incredible job” and is a “fantastic person.”

Trump told reporters that Haley mentioned six months ago she wanted to take a break “maybe at the end of the year.”
