Iraqi And Kurdish Conflict Show A War After ISIS Is Brewing

OpsLens Video

Iraqi forces, which include the US-trained Counter Terrorism Service and the Iranian-backed factions, began an attack on Peshmerga-controlled areas south and west of Kirkuk on Sunday at midnight.

As Iraqi forces entered the city of Kirkuk and were ordered to take down the Kurdistan flag in the disputed areas and hoist only the Iraqi banner, the war after ISIS is escalating due to the vote for independence by the Kurdish population in the Kurdistan region of Iraq. This latest conflict shows the country is no closer to stability and is destined to be engaged in conflict for some time to come.
