1/2CR Conducts MEDEVAC Training with UH-60

U.S. Soldiers, assigned to 1st Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment, conduct various types of Medical Evacuation with a UH-60 Black Hawk

U.S. Soldiers, assigned to 1st Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment, conduct various types of Medical Evacuation with a UH-60 Black Hawk, operated by U.S. Soldiers, assigned to 12th Combat Aviation Brigade, at the 7th Army Training Command’s Grafenwoehr Training Area, Feb. 28, 2017. The ability to extricate our wounded from the battlefield has directly led to more soldiers surviving what in the past would have been fatal injuries. The commitment of these medical evacuation crews is the reason many wounded soldiers are alive today. (U.S. Army video by Spc. Emily Houdershieldt)
