President Elect Donald Trump Wants To Implement Serious Consequences for Burning the U.S. Flag

OpsLens Video:

President elect Donald Trump stated that he wants serious consequences put in place for those who burn the U.S. flag.  To date such actions have been protected by the First Amendment, but Trump wants to punish such activity by either removing the individual’s citizenship or giving them a one year prison sentence.

OpsLens Take:  While Trump’s plan is unlikely to gain any traction given the protections provided in the First Amendment, as a staff of individuals that has fought for the flag we are in complete agreement that such a heinous act should come with severe consequences.
