The Federal Bureau of Investigation has reopened the investigation into presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s careless use of her private email server. While Mrs. Clinton was not indicted following the initial investigation, due to a lack of precedent and intent, the FBI has determined that additional leads warrant the resumption of the case. Early reports indicate that additional emails were found during the concurrent investigation into former U.S. representative Anthony Weiner. FBI Director James Comey did not provide further specifics on the new emails or a timetable for the new investigation. Whether any findings will become public prior to November 8th presidential election remains unknown.
